Omodong Moses, 31 year old entrepreneur from Teso, eastern Uganda. Born to a family of 8 kids, Moses lost his father when he was four years old, and struggled through school. He was unable to get a job, despite having an education.
But with support from a groundbreaking training programme provided by Enterprise Uganda, Moses was able to start up his own business starting with literally nothing but the shirt he was wearing. From that, he has been able to grow his business which he proudly says is worth UGX 70 million (US$20,000).
This eight minute documentary film, released during Global Entrepreneurship Week, tells the story of Moses, and Enterprise Uganda’s programme in Northern Uganda which has helped over 6,000 young people to start up their own business.
